4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (ESV)
Our future with Christ is secured by God through grace in His kindness towards us. In a sense, we are God’s trophies of kindness. Does this have a practical, daily impact on your way of life? Does kindness affect how you speak? Does kindness make you think of weakness? Does all this talk of kindness make you feel like an evanjellyfish or an emotional weakling?
Listen to Pastor Head clarify this and give us plenty to think about in the area of kindness.
